This time, I will show you the Pyeongchang plant.


As interest in the "Scale Remove Device" increased, many large factories began to inquire.


This is a large food factory, during the inspection there was a lot of coolant scale in the cooling tower.

This figure shows that coolant scale has occurred inside the cooling tower and in the "Direct flow cell drift eliminator".


I took pictures in part, but the coolant scale like the picture was attached to the "Direct flow cell drift eliminator" as a whole.


Even when visiting and inspecting other factories, the problem always occurred in the same area.

If you look inside the cooling tower, you will see the scale accumulating on the surface by the falling coolant.


It is invisible directly, but the scale components contained in water accumulate.


The cooling water scale will affect the equipment connected to the cooling tower.


Also, if you don't use cleaning and chemicals every year, it will definitely cost you a lot later.


However, using a “Scale Remove Device” can save you a lot of money later.

The cooling tower suction/discharge pipe of the “Scale Remove Device” is stainless, and the valve is installed for easy adjustment.


"Scale Remove Device" is connected to the piping, so it is not limited to places.

The piping installed in the cooling tower is attached to the suction/discharge line of the "Scale Remove Device, and the coolant filled with scale is moved.


This plant installed one "Scale Remove Device", and after seeing the effect, it connected to other cooling towers to install a total of two.

The piping connection can be selected and installed with commonly used hose connections and stainless steel pipe connections.


The PyeongChang plant was installed with stainless steel pipes.


Piping connections do not lead to large construction work. This is because it is only necessary to connect the cooling tower without touching the existing cooling water transfer pipe.

After installing the piping, you should check if there are any problems with the overall operation.


During operation, all connected valves must be opened.


Otherwise, the pressure will rise, and the water will not be able to inhale and discharge, right?


After all installations, I decided to visit again a month later.


In order to see how much the coolant scale was gathered, the collection method was manually set and operated.

Do you know what that is?


The white material is a scale component such as Ca, Mg, SO2 and Si in water.

It also proves that water with scale is flowing in the cooling tower in operation.


It was operated in manual mode to check if a lot of scale was collected, but when it is set to automatic mode, the scale is automatically discharged with water for a certain time.
